Wow, completely missed this one......that's pretty dark amigo... I'd be throwing my whys into the wind, even though there's no one listening. What I like to do, is wait for a train to come by, and then scream into the clatter of the tracks so that my kids don't hear me..lol.

You mean you will not complaint to any one. and just let it be. It is fated to happen. is it so? I have never met an Athiest in person before so I would not be able to guess what their reaction to misfortunes.

So why weren't older ghosts reported as being visible?
Did they suddenly become visible 1400 years after christ supposedly died?
or are they just made up fairy tales?

Guess what I think.

prior to the argument from need?
I dont quite get what you mean, can you rephrase it.

You argued that since people need justice, therefore a god must exist to provide it. But your latter argument suggests that god exists regardless of people's needs. Thus, I'm asking you to support that.

You mean those 2 arguement are contradicting? Prior argument and later argument? I need to really understand what you mean before I answer.

The latter negates the former. If god exists regardless of people's needs, the people's needs cannot be the reason for god's existence.

God's existence is not just for delivering ultimate justice alone. He is there to serve his creations for other need as well, like giving reward to good deeds and what not.

Kok, I have in fact found myself in the very position you described. It did not make me change my mind. I never fell for the god crap before, and I'm certainly not going to fall for it now. And if it really was the intention of some god entity that the sweetest woman I ever knew needed to die as some obscure test for me, then fuck that god, fuck its test, and fuck you too.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I suppose back then they did not have much light at night, only candles. Nowadays we have LEDs and what not.

And here's a well formed articulate sentence with correct spelling.

Utter shit content but well conveyed.

Assuming it had nothing to do with God's act or test. Then who caused your loved one to die.

Who would I complain to? There's no one there. Fated? No, not quite so mystical. An atheist's reaction to the loss of a loved one is likely to be very similar to a muslim's reaction.

I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I refuse to assume anything. I am not prepared to follow you down the rabbit hole on this one. My post was in response to your claim that the death of a loved one would change an atheist's mind and that is all I am going to say on the subject. Any and all attempts by you or anyone to use it as a preaching opportunity is not something I will take kindly to.
