When I was in London in 1996 our guide was doing a bit of discussion about the VAT and how the proponents gave exactly that line of shit out when it was proposed.
They now have the VAT AND an income tax. So blow your VAT out your ass.
No matter how you slice it, it is still a sales tax which hits the poor harder than the rich. Why do you think rich cocksuckers are in favor of it. Stop being so naive, Poop.
So what is your opinion on the matter then oh genius?
You don't need both, UK happen to start both cause they are stupid?
Our income tax is currently stupid and favors the rich so WTF is wrong with trying something else? All you people do is bash and never give any ideas. I don't see Obama doing shit, so you tell me how the US is going to get any better.

Well, if they think that God will provide for them, they surely can have as many children as they want to.
Not really my problem.

Like many religious people of many faiths, to be a truely moral woman, you have to be a baby factory with no rights to the baby you're growing inside you. You're supposed to feel ashamed of your own sexuality and stifle it until a time when other people tell you it's okay to start having sex.
I'm honestly surprised people like Santorum don't have repealing women's rights as a part of their platform because him and religious nutjobs like him are chipping away it at as much as they can.
If today you can take a thing like evolution and make it a crime to teach in the public schools, tomorrow you can make it a crime to teach it in the private schools and next year you can make it a crime to teach it to the hustings or in the church. At the next session you may ban books and the newspapers...
Ignorance and fanaticism are ever busy and need feeding. Always feeding and gloating for more. Today it is the public school teachers; tomorrow the private. The next day the preachers and the lecturers, the magazines, the books, the newspapers. After a while, Your Honor, it is the setting of man against man and creed against creed until with flying banners and beating drums we are marching backward to the glorious ages of the sixteenth centry when bigots lighted fagots to burn the men who dared to bring any intelligence and enlightenment and culture to the human mind. ~Clarence Darrow, at the Scopes Monkey Trial, 1925
Politics is supposed to be the second-oldest profession. I have come to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first. ~Ronald Reagan

Oh it's part of his platform, all right, just not vocalized, except for the abortion part.

Hey I agree as well, that would be the best way to keep this current system running. IMO The system needs to change though.
Why should anyone want to pay more taxes that are used to pay for war, ethanol subsidies, NCLB, and a slew of other worthless government programs.
It's not that government is bad. Government is people.
Its not that big business is bad. Big business is people.
It's just that neither are run/controlled by actual normal non-elites, non-sociopathic people anymore. They are ran by the same people, in both places. Look at who is in government cabinet positions.
The people need to run everything because the people are everything.
You can't have a true democracy when 55% of your population vote for one person, and 45% for the other. There should not be that much divide. If you include 3rd party then sometimes a minority of the people then pick the president.
That is even besides the point... because elections are propaganda driven entertainment. They do nothing, its all a farce, and the joke is on us.
The solution to the issue is not as simple as raising taxes on rich people.
Yes perhaps that can fund more social security/food stamp type programs. When you could just cut government waste like "foreign aid" TSA, F22, because those don't help feed and shelter US people.

That was just appalling to hear another human being say such garbage. What if a girl is forced to have sex all the time and forced to have multiple kids...er hm the middle east erm hm... Is it just more civilized in America to pass a law making abortion impossible for rape victims etc. instead of actually doing the raping and contributing closely? Not too far off, Rick. I cant wait for these old batshit fucks to die. We should make a new passage that says if you want to go to heaven, kill yourself, and we'll have the remainder of smart people on Earth in the aftermath.

Odd thing is birth control isn't condemned anywhere in the Bible. The closest verse I can think of is Gen 38:9-10, where Onan spills his seed. Even this verse, Yahweh punishes Onan for an act of disobedience.
Neither can I find any verses which state "life begins at conception", "marriage is defined as one man and one woman", and "sex is only for procreation".

Correction, a few extremely large corn growers have made arrangements with the federal government to receive subsidies. They then use these handouts to acquire larger tracts of land so that they can resubmit for yet more welfare the very next year. Welfare for the rich. The system in place is a good one, but it is a captive system (and that's where the trouble starts). Essentially, this "welfare" system is being used almost exclusively by entities which are among the largest landowners in the nation/world. Seems counter-intuitive, doesn't it?
