Part All of me wants the people who press the "dead man's switch" that prevents the emails from being sent to forget to press it...just for one day. Should cause some mass panic for people (mainly the Christians who hear the news that the emails have been sent).

Truth old sock:I don't believe in prophecy,precognition,or any other form of fortune telling. The reason is simple :I have never,ever,seen ANY proof for such claims,ever.

What is it with the lunar religious right and their focus on the Book of Revelations? Is it simply because it's SO vague that it lends itself to eisegesis* more than any other book in the canon? (Oh,Revelations is NOT included the Eastern rites canon)

At the Catholic school I attended,Revelations was pretty much ignored,as being the purview of saints and fanatic nutters.(the latter being how we saw evangelicals and literalists)

"The Rapture" is a C18th invention, expanded in the C19th by John Darby. It is seen by many mainstream Christians as further proof of the idiocy of the religious right.
