Submission to J.C. always seems to mean submission to a pastor. This is why pastors and I usually didn't get along. The dog training analogy is disturbing. I suspect it isn't all that bad though. I bet the show is just a way to entertain people with cute dogs but I could be wrong about this.
I have studied the Bible and the theology behind Christianity for many years. I have been to many churches. I have walked the depth and the breadth of the religion and, as a result of this, I have a lot of bullshit to scrape off the bottom of my shoes. ~Ziploc Surprise
