There's a level of truth in that. Most of them are tied into big Pharma for monetary purposes. They help perpetuate and promote the concept that people have "mental illnesses" so they can profit off the meds.

There are a dozen different kinds of schizophrenia and most of them do not actually result in phantom voices or phantom sounds. Most of the time people who DO hear phantom noises do NOT hear voices in their head, and the ones who DO hear voices in their head cannot make anything out of what the voices are saying; it's complete fucking gibberish. You're a fucking idiot, and the fact that you have met with MANY psychological professionals proves instantly that you haven't proven that you are not crazy to them, because if you weren't, they would've just given you a clear pass.
