Want me to go through and read and answer everyone of the 50? Quite a big job lol
I might do some......to be continued

I was referring to yourgodisimaginary.com and the disagreements you had with points raised by the site.

Yh, Im considering actually going through all 50 of them....
1) Try Praying
The problem I have with this one is that it is an atheist claiming that he is praying and nothing is happening. Of course he doesn't have faith to see what he is saying happen.
I think the reason why we pray and nothing happens is ether because we dont have faith for it to happen or because Gods plan of not doing it is better than our own. I know many people will take this as a easy get out. I've seen people healed though, sadly so much its become normal to me and I dont really tend to remember each one now. I know this isn't a wonderful answer for this one.

So... one must be blind if they are to truly see? I've known children to die because of parents who had faith... who prayed for them to get better.
The placebo effect is the effect of faith... and that is just what faith is: a placebo. The placebo is fine when a person is not truly sick... but when a person is in true need of medical attention: a placebo will do them no good.

As George Carlin says. (to paraphrase: ) "If it's God's Will, and he's going to do what he wants to anyway, why the fuck bother praying in the first place? Can't you just skip ahead to his Will? It's all very confusing."

And just think, any shmuck who can pray has the power to muck up God's plan.

Heck, Santa hits EVERY house... and all in the space of one night! And Santa is a jolly old elf too, who would never hurt anyone but Grandma (Well, this was more the reindeer's fault than anything)... I'd be happy to believe in the jolly fat man who brings me candy at Christmas, which is celebrated because such a good fellow named Santa was born on that day
This 'God' person though... I've heard of him, but I've never seen his work. The Easter Bunny, Santa Clause, and Hollow's Eve Spirits all give me gifts (usually candy) one day each year... and I have seen them in public numerous times (Hugging people, listening to kid's wishes, walking door-to-door)...
But I've yet to receive a lollipop from this sucker... and I've yet to see him! It's enough to make one think he doesn't exist! hmpf, he'd better show up soon, or my invisible fairy friends will stop giving him baskets of delicious invisible cookies!

Im not saying don't go to the doctor. The Placebo effect only works on certain illness, as far as i know not instant cures to blindness, deafness, broken or shortened bones, etc.

Gods reacts to our prays so it makes a difference (im researching an essay on this at the moment actually )
