A couple of weeks ago I joined worthy christians forums. My first post basically said "Hi, I'm an atheist and I'm here for some intelligent, rational debate" It was also my last, not only was I banned almost immediately, I can no longer even access the site. I find similar results with all the christian pages on facebook. If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71. I must be angry at a lot of other things as well... I'm angry at Gandalf! I'm angry at Darth Vader! I'm angry at Zeus! I'm angry at the tooth fairy (she never got me anything! -.-' )! I'm angry at the Devil! I'm angry at Denver, the last dinosaur! I'm angry at the transformers! I'm angry at James Kirk, for having a warp capable ship! I'm angry at Jean Luc Piccard, for having a replicator! I'm angry at Ebenezer Scrooge! I'm angry at Mickey Mouse! etc... I think I'd be a psychopath if I was angry at so many things at the same time. But no, I think of myself as rather normal. The question then becomes: why is it that you think I'm angry at an imaginary being? No you've made another elemental mistake, I am not angry with you, it is just that you are a figure of fun. It was recognised in the phraseology of your question that you were setting a biased agenda, and you were given one back. You have behaved in a way that we have seen many times before, and will no doubt see again. If you wish to be seen as an individual, and not just trolling then alter your behaviour. There are Abrahamists on this forum that are not just not accused of trolling, but are held in high regard. It seems to me you are blaming others for your own shortcomings. My point was that you guys had nothing to be fired up about other than your egos.Interesting, instead of adressing my point, you chose to focus on my grouping of you with religionists, by religionist I mean someone that follows a religion and taking from your religious views, I said no lie. Who is falling to ego now? Are you acquainted to psichological projection? Quote:You can't just expect other people to behave the way you want them to, and then complain about them when they don't. Yeah... you jumped on this thread mocking atheists for the way we deal with the OP, then go about telling me that I expect people to behave a certain way? Again with the psich projection. I never said that I expect people to behave a certain way, I said that if one wants to have a civil discussion, one should ask his questions honestly, not with loaded questions. But instead of adressing my points you chose to adress my intentions. Mabe you don't realize bt you just shot yourself in the foot. So, are you ready to adress my points and stop whining now? FYI I'm satisfied with the way in which I addressed your post. And I didn't jump on here and start mocking, what I did was call it for how I see it, that's called expressing my opinion. PS: Don't lecture me on psychological projection - I don't hide behind my pseudonym "Aractus". Actually, I tried, just like Zen, to make an introduction thread on a christian forum, and same thing happened, just got banned right away. The same thing can't be said about you, you jumped right in, without even introducing yourself. Although it isn't mandatory, I have the personal rule to not take people that don't introduce themselves seriously. |
