What is your attitude towards non-Muslims, and do you consider women equal to men?

I think you're supposed to start a separate thread for a separate topic

Consilius, just for clarification, Paul isn't mocking you, but MS Wink
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

I like the way that Muslim Scholar will completely ignore any evidence that exposes the shabby lies he spouts on these forums.

Typical apologist through and through.

What the media says about al-Quaeda is not necessary true
Islam doesn't allow violence against civilians

Non-Muslims are treated with justice in Islam, even that their religions is considered false, they are not forced to be Muslims
however if living in an Islamic country they are forced to follow Islamic rules (for example covering their women, etc.)

Do you believe that God loves non-Muslims and gives them salvatiion?

Christians in the US are not much different Con-job you don't consider women to be equal to men, you enslave them, deny them the rights of their own bodies.

No Con-job...ALL abrahamic religions deny women autonomy over their own bodies, equality within the society they find themselves in and are regarded as chattel to be disposed of as convenient all because of impotent males who are slaves to an ideal that should have died out in the 1000's

You refused to answer my last argument. Please don't bring it up again.
All Abrahamic religions are in favor of equal rights for women. Why they are treated differently (you say unfairly) is because God appreciates men and women for their differences, so they both have different roles in religion, like priesthood and child-bearing. I don't know if you consider one of these roles better than the other.
So instead, rather than persecute genders, religions make them more pronounced. Men and women have unique roles in the world and they complement each other to make it wholesome.

Con, you need to read the thread. MS has clearly stated that women are worth 1/2 of a man, they should be allowed to be beaten by their husbands, men can have 4 wives, and is still trying to convince people that its a-okay for a 40 year old man to marry a 9 year old girl. Read what ground has been covered before jumping to conclusions. MS isn't your brother because he believes in an Abrahamic religion, he's a sick, twisted man.

MS' statements are for hi to defend. I have in no way taken part in his argument. I was simply responding to KichigaiNeko's post on how all Abrahamic religions persecute women. He has yet to respond intelligently.

I can show that Islamic laws about women, marriage laws, sex is the best system available compared to any other system (existing or even proposed)

Who is up to this challenge????

I can show it is better than Judaism and Christianity in the matter of women. Half an inheritance as opposed to none at all for example.

As to it being the best, you have a real problem beating the modern as do most religions.

I just scanned some posts before reading through them. It appears there is an error in your formulation which leaves you open. Best is a nasty word that usually bites you in the ass.

The proper statement would be "better than" and that should be followed by what it is better than. Given the time in which it was created it was better than both Judaism and Christianity at the time. It was better than Christians and Jews until modern times when they began ignoring their religious precepts in the matter of the treatment of women. So technically Islam is still better than the other two religions.

If the law holds me responsible for the actions of my wife then the law is an ass. -- someplace in Dickens by Mr. Bumble I believe.

Oh you mean like the fact that if a man rapes and murders his daughter that the crime should not require a custodial sentence? Do explain to me how that is better.

Which religion does?

ِAbsolutely, even men they don't have autonomy over their own bodies
the same punishment apply for adultery (men or women)

That might be because you prefer other men? Just asking since islam is orientated to favour males over females and condones beatiality and polygamy and seem to be terrified of it's women.

I wou;d very much like to see the Persian women rise up and pour acid on the crotches of their men, see how the men like it... it is a dream I have.

And they do my dear Con-job. Read your bible.
