You asked a question, and you were given an answer. If you can't take that, then I guess there's no reason to post on this site. ronedee Wrote:Science doesn't have a good explaination for water RE: Is it discrimination to ask for one's religion?

I think he is one of those people that give atheists a bad rap. Also, I find his attitude, and stories to be similar to people who called my family derogatory names.

Should we mention that we have a Muslim admin? Simply because this is an atheist forum, doesn't mean everyone here hates those of faith.

After deciding on which candidates to interview, I filtered them out by asking for their religion. Technically, ( legally) it depends. If you live in the US and employ fewer than 15 people the law does not apply to you. Quote:Title VII of the Act, codified as Subchapter VI of Chapter 21 of title 42 of the United States Code, prohibits discrimination by covered employers on the basis of race, color, religion, sex or national origin (see 42 U.S.C. § 2000e-2[36]). Title VII applies to and covers an employer "who has fifteen (15) or more employees for each working day in each of twenty or more calendar weeks in the current or preceding calendar year" as written in the Definitions section under 42 U.S.C. §2000e(b). The Act does not apply to employers with 14 employees or less. Courts enforce laws.
What country do you live in? In the US that's illegal and thankfully so. The law protects Atheists far more since so many businesses here are owned by Christians. Also I think it's pretty douchey.
It's stupid to confess to illegal action on the internet, which is what you did twice on this thread, OP.
