People in your situation don't realize they need to do just that, so we understand if you aren't used to the concept. But, please, when we ask for evidence, just know that we're asking sincerely, and we're not out to entrap you in your words. When we think things through with you, you'll understand better just how we use reason and logic to successfully navigate murky waters.
Evidence? Where?!
If a physicist wrote out an equation for say, Quantum Mechanics? Would you say: Ok...now I see your evidence?
Well, think of me as a brilliant physicist and you? well whatever you want.
That's a clever Strawman, but you've only proven that YOU wouldn't understand the equation for Quantam Mechanics. How do you know that I wouldn't if I was given the equation? More to the point, this is exactly why peer review is so important in the scientific community.
In religion, there is no such thing as peer review. We can drop a pin and see it fall to the ground, demonstrably proving that gravity exists. However, when someone dies, we have no way of knowing if there is or isn't a soul escaping from their body to meet his or her maker. I guess the only peer review for that specific instance would be in the afterlife.
This all still means that you have still failed to give evidence, and now you claim to be the Quantam Physicist of the Catholic Church. The burden is again on you to provide proof of such a claim.

You really are peddling insanity.
So, my insanity is the reason for your lack of understanding?
You need to study and spend years doing research to be a brilliant physicist.
If you haven't used the methods of Jesus for understanding God...how would you know anything about Him?

...and you are still leaning on your chin...saying hmmmmmm to something you don't even have an inkling of.
Did you ever hear the quote: "Need a Hemi to chase a Hemi."?
This is appropriate here.

The insanity lies in thinking you are anywhere near analogous to a brilliant physicist.

EXACTLY! (Kisses Dionysius) But I suppose we should also be asking if there is even sin in the first place.
Oh, I get off track sometimes. Continue.

Unfortunately the Bible quotes final death as a spiritual one. Bullshit, I know, but we should have already known that.

How does sin kill the body?

Good. Perhaps you can tell me how sacrificing a human being on the cross saves someone?

Ah, xtian humour. Nothing - and nobody - like it.
Laugh? I very nearly did.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
