40 awkward Questions To Ask A Christian

No I said any Jesus Christ doctrine is correct for a while then when one out grows it will become wrong for them. So why follow it? Because at the time it is all one can comprehend. The command we have is to love god with all of our being this includes loving God with all we can currently grasp. This is all we are responsible for, nothing more, until we understand more then we have then been made responsible for what we now understand. That is why we are not responsible for any one doctrine, it is also the reason Christ never set one single doctrine up that completely represented christianity as he did with the Jews.

i would ask a christian this, what is the difference between an agnostic thinker and an atheist?

then without letting them answer i would say, an atheist hates god(s) an agnostic doesn't know.

then i would remember that im on a site called atheist-forums and it would all make sense to me.

How can an atheist hate something he doesn't believe exists?

Hmmmmm ...tough question, but!

I'd have to go with the "thinker"....yeah....the one with a brain!

That is so absurd. If you say that phrase over and over, it actually becomes stupider and more unbelievable that anyone would actually try to sell it as a truth.

I mean - jesus-fucking-christ-on-a-pickled-dildo you are so full of shit. You can damn near smell the stench of your filthy apologists rhetoric right through the screen. You've got a cooked-up nonsensical answer for everything and it basically always comes back to, "my god can do whatever he wants, cause he's god and fuck you."

Good to see you back cinny! I thought I ran you off. Wink

Oh, and as far as a rebuttal, read your bible because it says what I just said ;P

This one is my favorite:

How can you tell the voice of God from the voice of the Devil?

Thinking

God's voice is higher like John Candy's, and the Devil sounds more like Cleveland from Family Guy.

What is the one, true and correct way to interpret the Bible, and can you demonstrate why it is?

Pretty much every Christian responds to criticism of scripture with something along the lines of "you don't understand Scripture properly" or "very basic biblical based understanding of Christianity" leads one to a more proper truth.

What basis do you have for implying that you understand the bible more 'accurately' than non-believers? What is the objective standard of accuracy?

The depth of your thought can be measured in Angstroms.

Quote:As G/C pointed out the questions asked are of a 'simplistic' nature to put it mildly.

Apparently they are not simple enough as you two assholes can't seem to answer them.

Bitching about them does not equal answering them.

The unfathomable depth of your ignorance astounds me, really it does. Why don't you go read up on what you're attempting to talk about before you embarrass yourself any further?
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
