Ivy (not EVIE) is really leaving for a bit

RE: Ivy (not EVIE) is really leaving for a bit
How about the one about reading the bible backwards, by someone I've never actually heard of?

(Actually I went on to refine that on my little bloggy, if anyone happens to accidentally hit that website buton down there. Not that I'm blog-whoring or anything.)
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Crazy: yes. Entertaining: yes.

I couldn't find the one where ronedee said science has no explanation for water though, alas.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

Take care, if you need anything let me know. I am always willing to help a fellow atheist! I am moving towards leaving the battlefield myself.

Cool! I am going to transition back to Tampa, FL here in the next couple of months. I am in search for a new position in Tampa. I want to get away from the Government if possible.

That's awesome! Yey! You need to cool off for a while, though. You need a vacation. Still sleeping in your office?

I'm happy for you.
