Well God that the christians believe is the crazy uncle in our family. He likes to make stories up and for some reason has this strange worship obession, I know this because he always jealous that I make friends just like him. With that said...."For my choices are my choices. For if you make those choices you make my choices. Truely I say unto you, for not try to understand for I am understanding so think what I think and you will understand as I understand. "
I would be a televangelist....but I have too much of a soul.

I iz a member of the geezerish, lawn-owning, kid yelling at, dirty t-shirt wearing shotgun cleaning boyfriend examining, internet savvy (except for twitter! what the hell is that thing for anyway?) atheist club.
My bod is >50 and my mind is in the gutter. Been an atheist lo these many years; probably since mid-20s. Long time god mocker, fornicator and all around pain in the ass.
Can Jesus save me?!?

I'll keep it short and simple.
Current age is 33, almost 34.
I have been atheist roughly since my early twenties.

A lady never reveals her age, and yet all the females here did...hmm...
I'm 40, but it's a spry 40. (Don't let the lumpy adult diaper fool you...I'm not on the Viagra.)

No, people started sharing their age to prove the assumptions in the OP wrong.
And here I thought that the theist stereotype of most atheists was true. That atheists are tattooed, pierced, nihilistic, rebellious teens and 20's.
Next you'll be telling me that we are only claiming to be atheists because we're rebelling against Yahweh.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

I have been atheist roughly since my early twenties. No way! Weren't you pagan till like, well, it was after bolt, I'm sure!
I'm 26, and, aside from brief half-hearted attempts at religion during my teens, have been an atheist most of my life. Even during those times I couldn't really bring myself to believe in gods. I tried to make sense of it by kinda interpreting gods as ways of describing something in nature rather than a conscious magical being (because that was always too ridiculous for me to believe) like the "thing" that made the universe come to life, the "thing" that made stuff look beautiful. Obviously, that didn't last long because it was stupid, and I decided religion definitely wasn't for me by the time I was 16ish. The only other time I even entertained the idea was the day my mother died, and I called on every superstitious thing I'd ever heard of that might help, because nothing could actually help. I "prayed" to every god I'd ever heard of, I wished on the stars I couldn't see as it was daytime, I went for a walk and spoke out loud in case there were fairies or something with magical healing powers who might come to my aid. But that's not belief, that's just a desperate attempt at doing something, anything, to help save someone you love when they are beyond help.

Yeah, I was pagan for a while. Well, more like agnostic theist, until I finally decided to drop the theistic and unknowing part to head straight for hardcore anti-theism.

I've noticed the exact opposite. It's all geizers here. There's only one other person who I think has that - what I will call - 'internet-age' mentality, and that's Violet. Darkstar was young but he didn't have that mentality, and he's also not with us anymore.

I've got an idea to run a similar thread about phone numbers.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
