How can a god, that apparently loves everyone, allow this kind of thing to happen?

He is called all powerful, not slightly powerful, not pretty powerful, not extremely powerful; all powerful.
There are no shades of grey in this. All powerful means you can do anything, don't you think the inventor of reality itself can do anything?
And if god can't do anything, then he is not all powerful.
Thats with overlooking the paradox of an all powerful being

That's only true if all things that can be done are functions of power, and you haven't demonstrated that.

That has not been established as fact.

What part of "omnipotent" don't you understand?

I'm not sure what you mean by that, can you give me some examples of things that can't be done by using power or that isn't a function of power. Would you mind defining power for me as well.

We're talking about your deity. None of it is established fact.

That doesn't even make sense.

From google...

Quote:pow·er
ˈpou(-ə)r/
noun
1.
the ability to do something or act in a particular way, esp. as a faculty or quality.

So, by saying "able to do anything which is a function of power," you're really saying "able to do anything which is the function of the ability to do something."

It's total nonsense and just an attempt to obfuscate what is meant by "all-powerful."

So, god is not capable of creating us in heaven as "full" as if we lived this life and went to heaven, which contradicts your previous comment that the bible describes god as all-powefful.

Not entirely sure if all of those are butterfly children, but you get the idea.

Surely a god that loves everyone (which has been claimed by certain christians on this forum) would not let this happen

Unless they somehow deserve it? What could those children have done to deserve such suffering I wonder.....
But this is a genetic disease, they can't have done anything to deserve this.... right?

Answers please, i'm fed up with people dancing and dodging around this question

The anwser is that you appear to want a skydaddy babysitter... Undecided
Life is not fair, just deal with it.

If your god has given these children this condition(along with all those other delightful childhood diseases he seems to enjoy inflicting on the innocent)
Then he appears to be making life even more unfair.

Sadistic piece of shit your god. Isn't he....
