I have heard the expression quarterback but beside referring to large american football players I don't know what it means.
What is their role?

If Islam is the one true religion, why is it necessary to kill those who wish to leave it?
Or those who disagree with it?

The renaissance may have been commenced by Muslim Scholars, but it all quickly went to pot for them. Baghdad fell into decay once the assholes there decided to burn all books. That city had its moments, but it was short lived.
Edit: I mean, Scholars who just happened to be Muslim.
