How many times can we explain this to you? The bible is a claim, it is not evidence.

There are no accounts if Jesus until well after his death.

Many of the accounts in the bible of other events are demonstrably false and destroy any sense that it is any way credible as an actual recording of factual history.

This is why we ask for evidence of the claims. As you can't provide any, we can quite easily stick to our conclusions that the bible is bullshit, at least until someone comes along and actually gives us some sort of substantiated evidence (if).

Because they are internal. The three books of lotr corroborate the existence of orcs, but they don't raise the text above fiction because they are from the same book. The council of nicea could have simply picked out the texts which agreed and ignored the rest. Or indeed written some new ones.

The 6 days are not the creation but the restoration. In other words after God created perfectly over 13.7 billion years (Gen. 1.1), the sin of the inhabitants of earth's earliest ages sinned so much, He had to make it desolate and waste (v.2), killing off the dinosuars. But then He restored it summed up by the 6 twenty-four literal days.

The trouble with the 'historical' sources for Jesus is that none of them - not a single one - are contemporary, i.e., written within the purported lifetime of Jesus. Even if we stretch a point and consider the synoptic Gospels as 'historic' accounts (they aren't, they're hagiographies), there were also written decades AFTER the alleged life of Jesus.

We don't have this problem with other figures of antiquity - Julius, Augustus, Jenghiz Khan, and so forth. We have extant examples of things they wrote themselves, or things that were written about them while they were alive, or contemporary statues or coins with their faces and names on them, etc.

We have nothing comparable to the Jesus of Nazareth character.
