Pro abortion or not
RE: Pro abortion or not
"Pro-abortion or not" is not a question so much as a baiting tactic.

Yet it begs to have views voiced ...... which has been done.

I really don't care one way or another. I can see both sides of the argument on the surface, and I haven't had any first hand experiences that sway me one way or the other.

There should be NO law telling any person what he or she can do to their own body.

Why should a person be forced to be the life support system for an embryo?

Hypothetical:

A person is dying and the only way to keep them alive is to connect them up to you so can be their life support system, sharing your blood supply, food supply, waste disposal, etc. You have to be connected to them for 9 months. This process has the same health consequences for you as that of a pregnancy.

The State is going to force you to do this.

Do they have the right to force you to be the life support system for another person?

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Stop acting like saying "fetus" is any less brutal. It's a human, just who hasn't been born yet. And in response to your question, yes. You chose to get pregnant. If you got raped, you should've been more careful. (Not justifying it by any means.) Luckily, I have empathy, so if that was me, I would want to live, or I wouldn't be here right now. Christians are pro-life, but for all the wrong reasons.

Why?
Because I 1. Have empathy. 2. Am not a bloodthirsty killer.

Well, it's more accurate than "human," since at the beginning stages, it is just a clump of cells. Do you really think that could be called "human"?

Are you really trying to argue this? You are so wrong. The day before you give birth, that's a fetus (clump of cells, you call it, what makes it any different? It could be more useful than you to the world, and probably will be). So it's a human being just a really young one.
