That being said,
1)continuously rebutting sheer fucking nonsense is not arrogance
2)calling someone's opinion sheer fucking nonsense is not arrogant.
3)being upset that you have to continuously rebut sheer fucking nonsense is not arrogance
4)being a 'jerk', or a 'bully', does not make someone arrogant.
5) being able to adequately defend your opinion does not make someone arrogant.
I hate being called arrogant, esp. when the accusation is used as a turtle shell defense against my otherwise penetrating arguments. Just had to chime in.

I fucking despise religion as a whole. Everything about it sickens me; even the best tenets leave much to be desired. I'll be specific, though
>The way in which they analyze the ideas of dissenters with unyielding scrutiny, and then plead for religious mercy when the same scrutiny is applied to their ideology
>The emphasis on superstitious garbage that can never be disproven (i.e. you cannot prove that jesus did not walk on water because you were not there)
>the way that Young Earth Creationism, Intelligent design, and the like all seem to be immune to evidence that contradicts most (if not all) of their ideas.
>Their unwarranted sense of moral superiority esp. when conversing morality with secular people. This one really burns me up.
>The fact that churches can be funded by the government, yet somehow churches are tax exempt.
>The idea that you must admit that you are unworthy scum and that you must bow down to your lord lest you be eternally punished
>Childhood indoctrination
>The fact that religious nutjobs continuously justify natural disasters, mass murdering, CHILDHOOD SODOMY etc. as "god's mysterious, yet unquestionable will".
>the ridiculous idea that atheism is a religion
>the idea that i have to capitalize the word 'god'
>Being demonized because you disagree with them (esp. when you prove them wrong). i.e. "you dont believe in god? You actually have good reason for what you believe? you are the FUCKING DEVIL" (my parents lol)

The absolute worst characteristic of the three major Abrahamic religions is (for me) the arrogance with which the followers claim to know everything from the reason for human existence to the moral values that a 'good' individual should uphold to the nature of the fucking afterlife. how. fucking. convenient.
