Well that really sucks, I'm sorry that you are so afflicted! Discussions get a bit intense here due to the large amount of woo and apologetics we have to wade through, so the tolerance for out there stuff which is hard to tell from nonsense tends to be low. But if you believe your idea is worthwile but misunderstood, by all means, keep defending it

People do that all the time though. My point was you just seemed to have Googled a few philosophical terms or quotable quips and dumped them here without apparent regard for what they mean or if they were true. To say science rejects the existence of the subconscious is flat out false, for example.


Regardless, I certainly support the aim of spreading one's exploritory horizons.

Science, physics, or physicalism is a philosophy or faith where you believe everything is physical including mind and subconscious.

Some counter philosophies are Dualism, Subjectivism, Solipsism, and Empiricism as opposed to Rationalism.

Subconscious is another name for god? That could very well be the most authentic way to view 'god.'

Science doesn't need to measure it. But, many feel the need to dub things as 'supernatural' that can't be measured, or that they don't understand. It's ok to say...''I don't know.'' Conjuring up a god because a person is too uncomfortable with the words ''I don't know'' ...is largely how religions became what they are.

During the Paleolithic time period, a quasi-religion if you will, began called shamanism (people practiced an altered state of consciousness). Even back then, man was reaching for something to grab onto, to make sense of what he didn't yet know, or understand about his surroundings. Or even about himself.

this is not true.

Some may, but I wouldn't count them as reasonable scientist. No more than I would count a person that kills in the name of christ as a reasonable christian.
