too, seems reflections on desired prep and taste is effectually altered by what conditions of say things like smoking are in place, or have been stopped for 1 or 3 or 5 years, altering believable or unbelievable tastes to be experienced...

TC, if ingesting raw egg has that affect, why on Gaia's green earth would you possibly do that intentionally?
Oh wait, I forgot. That self-loathing and masochism thing.
Well, dammit, just STOP doing that anyway.
Now that I have said that, everybody, you may now continue with your regularly scheduled program.

Over-easy...and fuck the chickens. If they can't produce eggs it is time to make them into chicken cacciatore.

Scrambled. It is the easiest way to cook eggs without ruining them. So ordering them out will be safer than any other preparation.
But it is also the way I cook them but I know how to make them perfect. I got a lesson from a cook at Chez Panisse restaurant. You just want to start with a really hot skillet. Have the eggs well whipped together with cold milk or water. (I tend to use 1/2 and 1/2, but he swears cold water would be as good). Place a generous gob of butter in a corner of the pan where it can pool without browning. When it is melted, quickly swish the butter across the pan and immediately add the eggs. As the pan side of the eggs get a little firm draw them to the center of the pan so more uncooked egg can get a turn. I like to flip it over once briefly but the eggs should be plated just before the eggs are completely cooked. They'll finish cooking in their own heat on the plate. Butter makes everything better.

I enjoy eggs any way that they can be prepared.

I like mine scrambled with greens, feta cheese, black olives, chopped onions, and cilantro. Greek omelette.
The only way I like a fried egg is on a hamburger. There is a place in Franklin, TN called Pucketts. They have Zagat rated burgers, and they put a fried egg on them. I'm telling you, there are very few things on Earth that are better...

An egg on a burger? lol Sounds different. I'll take your word for it.
This morning, no eggs. Made banana wheat pancakes. An egg was used in the recipe, however.
**I've made frittatas before, sort of like a crustless quiche. I can cook *some* things, I guess. If you are watching your carbs, this is a nice dish for breakfast or dinner, and makes great leftovers.
This pic is just a random shot from the internet to show you that you can make them as 'mini' frittatas as well.

Okay now seriously. Aww man, I love me some eggs. It's part of the reason why I just do not have it in me to go vegan. I like them scrambled (and when I was a kid my mom would put green food dye in them so they would be green eggs... like in green eggs and ham), boiled, and over easy. The only eggs I do not like are deviled eggs and not real eggs and those peculiar square yellow chunks that cafeterias sometimes have that they claim are eggs.
And because I am a vegetarian, I do not like eggs that are contaminated by touching meat that get that meat flavor on them. Ewwwwwwww.
"Unfertilised" was my first reaction.
I like fired eggs, preferably as runny as possible.

Aww, shit, I just realized that I actually made that common mistake of using the word "affect" when I meant "effect" and of course, I can no longer edit that post, so that damned stupid mistake will continue to exist as long as this forum remains on the internet. Holy shit. This is just AWFUL.
