I did it for you guys, GC wasn't the one that couldn't find the info.

Note that Milk recorded his age as 18. It is credible that the boy said he was, and if you look at photographs, he looks all of 18.

He didn't look like a child, so the accusation of pedophilia collapses.

And age of consent is 12 in Mexico, what's your point?

Theism has nothing to do with it, according to the law of California Mr. Milk is a statutory rapist.

A statutory rapist under a superfluous law is one thing. Taking the unreasonable theistic leap of referring to him as a pedophile is something else.

My point was about pedophilia. Go ahead and quote statute, but that says nothing about whether or not Milk was a pedophile.

He does not fit the definition.

Now you're the one that needs to provide evidence to your assertion that the kid lied about his age, and that Milk had no knowledge he was under age.

Not that much of a leap.

Oh, bullshit. I didn't make an assertion that he lied. I said it is credible that he may have lied as Milk recorded it as 18.

And he looked much older than 16, so that alone defeats the argument for pedophilia.

Or he recorded his age as 18 because what he was doing was, i don't know..Illegal?

Perfectly valid legal defense.

RE: Fundamentalist christian group to refuse accept any post with Harvey Milk Stamp on.
There's a silver lining in this. AFA's antipathy towards Harvey Milk is simply because of his stature as a champion for rights of homosexuals. The fact that AFA feels the need to advocate for a boycott of the stamp based on the thinly evidenced claim that he was a pedophile is telling. Even the AFA knows that the boycott would not gain any traction (not that it will anyway) simply based on Milk's homosexuality.

An organization that indoctrinates and brainwashes children citing another form of child exploitation as a reason for a boycott is somewhat ironic.

And no, I'm not equivocating religious indoctrination and pedophilia.

You're right, the legal terminology is "minor"
