2.Who has it worst:LGBTs or Atheists

Being that I am Atheist, Gay, and Black I can tell you that gays still have it harder.

Black Pegasus, have you always been atheist? Can you tell me if you had to exit a religion because you were gay? I mean, if suddenly your local church said " Oh look fuck we made a mistake Jesus says we love gays too" would you want to join up just to belong?

I technically answered #4 (depends on the situation), but I believe by and large LGBTs have it worse. If nothing else, an atheist can usually hide themselves better if they need to. In almost any situation an atheist can still function without having to give anything away about their beliefs, but LGBT people have to limit a lot more if they want to remain hidden. For example, someone in a same-sex relationship can't just go out on a date if they are trying to hide their orientation unless they pretend they're just friends or hope no one they know sees them.

On the flip side of the coin, it seems nation-wide, gays are seen are more acceptable than atheists to your average American (I'm not sure where the transgendered fit into this). There was a study a few years back that showed atheists are the least-trusted group in the US.

Who has it worse? No one and everyone, meaning our species is too fucking stupid long term to see our tribalism and phobias always lead to division and oppression of others. Minorities in any given period of human history don't always stay minorities and can go on to oppress others. Power shifts over time.

The way gays and atheists are treated now are a matter of geography and era. Those things will get better for us, but that also does not stop humans in general from going on to oppress others others in the future. We are all minorities and majorities depending upon location and the society we live in.

Depends where you are I guess, thankfully here in London, it's a non-issue for most, as is being an atheist.

But, we can all blame the horrific treatment homosexuals receive in many places down to the good old Bible. Most civilisations accepted and, in many cases, actually lauded homosexuality before that best selling piece of sh1t entered the collective conciousness,

Luckily no one can tell . . . so it's never an issue
