YAY science! What these videos can't convey is the noxious gas that comes off one of those reactions. I was near one once and inhaled a very small amount of the gas, it caused severe coughing. Fresh cut sodium is really shiney and pretty but tarnishes seconds after a cut and has to be stored submerged in oil.
