Ami, it may help you to meet local atheists in person. Many areas have a Meetup for atheists, which you can search for on Meetup.Com. I don't know that they'll give you money, but another place to park for awhile and a new network of contacts for your job search is a reasonable expectation, as is someone picking up your tab. Don't ask for it, just pick a meeting with food and explain that you're homeless and jobless so you won't be having a meal; and there's a good chance someone will offer, at least the first time.
In-person friends are the best. And there's nothing wrong with an atheist taking charity from a church, or a religious believer taking charity from an atheist.
