There seems to be a disconnect between 'I am valued' and 'I deserve to suffer in hell if I don't worship God'. I worshiping God the only value you have, and without it you're not only worthless, but deserve eternal torture?
I don't really see a disconnection, I deserve to suffer in Hell for my sins but because we are valued we are offered forgiveness

What a disgusting sentiment.

You've done something that warrants hell? Care to share (assuming that the statute of limitations has run out, obviously...don't want you incriminating yourself)? What -could- that possibly be.......

Do you deserve to pay a ticket for whatever it is?
Do you deserve a sentence of hard labor on your state highway for whatever it is?
Do you deserve a night in county jail for whatever it is?
Do you deserve a 10 year stretch in a minimum security prison for whatever it is?
Do you deserve life in a federal penitentiary for whatever it is?
Do you deserve to be tortured for whatever it is?
Do you deserve to be executed for whatever it is?

In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. Uh huh, so, do you think that all of that (whatever that nebulous "all" may be) warrants, say, 5 years -possibility of parole in 3 down at the local klink? Gotta tell you buddy, I've never done anything that deserves more than a couple nights in the county tank.......so if you would, please limit these claims to yourself.

So the only reason it's wrong is because the Bible says it's wrong, and it just so happens that God is one that controls the punishment, but you can conveniently avoid it by paying him in worship and praise. Do you know absolutely fucking absurd that is?

I haven't done something wrong according to the justice system. I have commited sins though like gossiping , hate, lying. All are mentioned as being wrong, commiting these deserves Hell.

No I don't think it would add up to that as sins punishable in the Bible are not illegal in modern day justice systems.

So, nothing you've done, in your estimation, should land you in a county jail for a few years.......but...simultaneously, everything you've done -should- land you in hell for eternity (which, I've heard..is a bit rougher than county jail)?

The observation based on motions of stars and matter clouds is that the gravitational mass of the combined matter of galaxies is insufficient, by itself, to explain the cohesiveness of the structure. Something is essentially holding the galaxies together gravitationally. Measurement of the rotation velocities involved suggest invisible matter some ten times more massive than the visible matter. This invisible matter goes by the placeholder label of 'dark matter'.

That its composition is hypothetical is not in dispute. That something which fits the label exists and produces measurable effects is also not in dispute.

And once again, the prudent course is not to accept the findings merely on the credentials of the people presenting them, but on the peer-reviewed literature which is not kept secret.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'
