But even crazier is a court taking the suit seriously.
But finding for the plaintiff is just mad beyond belief.
No court found for the plaintiff. The defendant settled.
OK, that's just plain silly. Did their lawyers actually believe a court would find any merit in that suit?

Red Bull fought it in court.
I don't know how incompetent one's representation has to be to get this judgement against them.
Perhaps their marketing team thought it'd revitalize the brand?

Court's in the US these days are a total crapshoot, regardless of the merits of the case. A lawyer for Redbull might have caved from just a subtle tone or inflection in the judge's voice. Helluva thing (wonky courts) to have so little confidence the system is going to work in a fair way.

I'd certainly like to have been the judge. I would certainly be tempted to tell the plaintiff to get the fuck out of my courtroom and to avoid reproducing as their genes need to leave the gene pool.

That's the problem.
Courts are a total crapshoot. Merit shmerit, you could get boned and boned bad, and it there you are.
