That's actually not that hard. You just have to refrain from stoning people at sight, ripping pregnant women open or from forcing your buddies to perform mock executions on their sons, like he did with Abraham. That should be enough for starters.

you know whats funny because this is true with other religions.
people are always ready to die to get somewhere and the reality of islam and
and muslim faith they would gladly kill themselves with others to get to heaven.
in general religion teaches you to devalue your own life because you live forever and
your going either to a heaven or b hell. i don't know being alive forever into either of those
places none of them seem any pleasant.

Exactly. I didn't even mean to imply that I'm particularly moral, or even above average. Not committing genocide is enough. Not condemning millions of children to horrible deaths - been there, done that... I don't even demand that people abandon their families to join my cult like Jesus.

Who is frightened of oblivion? I am accountable to a lot of people, thats what society should do. I am not afraid of it. I think it is well put though that in the end we just dont exist. I am not scared of that or accountability

how is anyone really accountable if god knows before hand who is or who isn't going to hell. he already knows so whats the point if you are a terrible person and god knows what you are going to do why not just jump off a bridge or i don't know make some really difficult changes to your life. even god would do things to keep that person on track to go to hell. if god is real he gives us to much because reality is hard enough as it is and for him to throw another challenge to challenge peoples faiths he is really doing more to hurt those people than help.
