I'm very confused here. Your religious views say you're open-minded, but then you proudly proclaim that you're ignorant and uneducated.

"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
-Stephen Jay Gould
The gap is between his ears...like all these jesus freak assholes.

We know that God created man around 4000BC, but the world could have existed for many years before man took dominion. Does at all strike you as suspect that you have to create your own explanations to support your conclusions?
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Also this dumbass doesn't realize that anatomically modern humans emerged 100,000 BCE.
Luke: You don't believe in the Force, do you?
Han Solo: Kid, I've flown from one side of this galaxy to the other, and I've seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen *anything* to make me believe that there's one all-powerful Force controlling everything. 'Cause no mystical energy field controls *my* destiny. It's all a lot of simple tricks and nonsense.
I'm wondering what is meant by "created man" in this context. There were, after all, cities before this. Cultures. There might have been written records preceding this (not sure, will check). So what does the idea of man being created 4000BC mean?

He has at least conceded that the earth existed before 4000BC, so I'm not giving up hope that he is redeemable.
Also, the first basic system of writing was in existence around 3500-3000 BC in Sumeria, so you're about right Natachan.
