Anonymous declared "war" on terrorists!

Anonymous declared war on Islamic extremists Friday and promised to take revenge for the attack on French satirical magazine Charlie Hedbo.

In a video posted on YouTube, the group of hackers said they would track down websites and social media networks linked to terrorists, and take them down.

"We, Anonymous around the world, have decided to declare war on you the terrorists," it said.

The video is described as a message for "al Qaeda, the Islamic State and other terrorists," and promises to avenge the killing of 12 people in Wednesday's attack.

"We intend to take revenge in their name, we are going to survey your activities on the net, we are going to shut down your accounts on all social networks," Anonymous said.

Hacker group Anonymous released the clip through its Belgian account, labelling it "a message for al-Qaeda, the Islamic State and other terrorists".

A figure appears on camera wearing a Guy Fawkes mask and a hooded robe.

The figure, whose voice is warped, says: "We are declaring war against you, the terrorists."

The video promises to find and shut down all social media accounts related to terrorists to avenge those killed in recent attacks.

The group also released an online statement in which they offered their condolences to "the families of the victims of this cowardly and despicable act".

It added: "Freedom of expression has suffered inhuman assault ... and it is our duty to react".

I have said I would be against the death penalty if we caught them. But lets clarify what I mean by "I am glad they are dead".

I mean that since they resisted and caused their own death, they will not be alive to do that to someone else again. And they would still be assholes if they got life in prison.

I am sure their electronics and family and friends will provide some insight. They didn't cover their tracks too well otherwise they wouldn't have been named as suspects hours after the fact.
