Also for a little more context, the group that was being protested: http://equalitycanada.com/
I reccommend you have a look at their website for more information about them. Particularly their mandate. They are all for equality. There is nothing remotley sexist or mysogninistic on their site. So what possible reason could this particular group of feminists have for disrupting their meeting? Could it be that it highlights mens issues as well as womens?

Also here's a video by the amazing atheist about it, I know some of you don't like him but he explains about the mens group at 2.14

Yeah, that's a good rebuttal. I agree, Tfoots video is rather hit and miss on consideration. I think he had good intentions, I don't get the idea he is a total nob, but maybe he gets as carried away as his opposition.

Because it was reported on by lots of different people. And here is the video where they pulled the fire alarm, you will recognise some of the same people from the previous video:

Ok, I admit the fire alarm part was extreme. Entering the building to protest was also extreme. I don't agree with such an idea of protesting. I do support their right to protest outside the building, though. Free speech is free speech for both sides.

Quote:Would you be interested in hearing the perspective of a person who had completely disrupted your event and obviously doesn't care for freedom of speech?

I would not, but this seems like a loaded question to me ... as I would also not hold a lecture at a university to argue for MRA views or criticize feminism (by misrepresenting what it's about). Which was the reason for the protest.

Read my post after that, that should clear up this bullshit about misrepresentation.

Yeah my whole deal is yes there is rape and yes rape is bad it is very very bad. But when someone says there is a rape culture then it boggles me and troubles me deeply.
How... could a rape culture exist because well in a society like the middle east maybe but even still we are advance and a secular country. I am not trying to sound like i am against feminism
i am just against the modern radical feminism. Women need rights and its a damn good thing they do and they have the right to abort life if they see fit. But when someone claims that there is a rape
culture in a civilized society they need data and proof to back up that claim. And the other thing is saying all guys are a potential rapist and all guys are bad that is really horrible type of thing to say.
There was a feminist who attacks our Vets https://nomeansnofeminism.wordpress.com/...an-heroes/ , if that is not shameful i don't know what is
and why attack these people in the first place. They did their job they served over seas and the last thing they need to come back to is someone who is ready and willing to attack them back at home with words.

Uh...there are plenty of rapes and sexual assaults in the military.

In my fantasy Atheism + disappears in a flurry of mutual banning until the last person standing, seeing no one else to attack, finally kills herself. RIP

That woman (whom I am currently refraining from calling her names) claims she got PTSD from tweets. It had nothing to do with rape or sexual assault. And when actual soldiers who suffer from PTSD called her out on her bullshit, she threatened to have them essentially fired.

I understand that but that lady in the link said she got PTSD from Twitter tweets and it pissed off a bunch of army vets so in turn she started to attack them.
If you get upset over something on Twitter or even the internet because someone has a different opinion then suck it up. She was in the wrong for attacking the vets
because those people had a do their jobs. But to claim you got PTSD over Twitter posts is childish.
