The reality of growing up.
March 4, 2015 at 9:45 am
Pretty much my nephew was like i cannot wait to grow up ill have less responsibilities and eat ice cream for breakfast and not do the dishes. In reality we all know when kids say this its the exact opposite because welcome to the real world.

I would much rather be an adult than a child. Childhood sucked for me. LOL

Although being an adult sucks, my childhood was worse. So I wouldn't go back. Then again, if I could go back and actually enjoy it in a way I never did, that would be cool. But I took everything way too seriously, to the point where getting into trouble was absolutely unbearable. Plus bullying from all angles didn't help.

As much as the real world freaks me out, I'd rather deal with it and be independent and out of this circus.
There is an alternate solution, though. Does anyone want to adopt me? Just food and wifi and I'm good.

There are definite advantages to both. Adulthood grants many freedoms, but also burdens you with responsibilities. As a child you don't have many responsibilities, but you're confined by the whims of the adults.
