I hate the word "cultural". It makes excuses for tribalism. There is not one group on the face of the planet that is not out for the same thing. It is a watered down version of religious and political grouping. I am under no illusions that humans wont disagree or flock to like minded people. I am however tired of the notion that labels magically make us out for different things. We are all out for the same thing. But culture exists, I'm sure there's culture you enjoy, like music, literature or other forms of art. I don't see the problem with labels, labels identify people. Labels make us different the same way holding a different job makes us different, we are all different to an extent, the only thing we all have in common is that we are all humans

Still not getting it. Yes, there is no way to avoid labels. There is also no way to avoid the past. I am saying that our species needs a reality check in that we are not a separate species.

Which to me is ok, I do not understand the need to include everyone all the time.
The thing is, is the person left out because they're not qualified for the job in question, or is the person left out because their skin is the wrong shade?
I cannot believe I have to point that nuance out to you.
It's funny -- I know you're half-Korean. And I know that one of the stereotypes about Koreans is that they are very racist. Having lived around them at times in my life, I know that stereotype is pretty empty; but when I read your shitposts, I find myself thinking, maybe I should use the same broad-brush sloppy-thinking dumbfuck-paradigm that he does -- then I remember, you don't represent Korean-Americans, you represent dumbfucks.

Drich, what is going on with you? Are you trying to offend people? Even for you this thread seems a bit over the top

We are, everyone has a certain group to avoid - I for example don't wish to meet with clergymen and neo-nazis, and I see no reason to get along with any of those groups.
Oh and I am getting it, I just think it's a ridiculous position because it's factually impossible to eliminate labels unless we create a worldwide anarchist internationalist society where everyone lives happily ever after - Something I don't look forward to try.

I missed the part where someone argued that different races are different species.

Your talking to a guy who doesn't believe that all people have an equal right to life. Jobs? Pfftftft. He don't give a shit about jobs.

Au contraire, mon frere -- he believes every fetus has an equal right to life. And you just know that feeties are people too.
This twat wants equality when it benefits him, and wants to deny it when it goes against his superstition -- or his own personal biases.
I bet if he were jobless and applied for a business run by a Korea vet who didn't hire him for his mien, ole Drich here would be crying like the stuck pig that he is.
Hey, some people have to learn the hard way.

Yeah, but feeties, even if you stretch the definition of people to include them, are just a subset of all people.

Indeed, they are, so long as they are able to quaff a brew, shoot a gun, and shitpost.
