You didn't answer my question, Buggy. What is racist about rims and bling?

What are you talking about? Do you know the difference between nationality and race? Australian is a NATIONALITY, not a race.... Therefore, the comment of "I'm giving you a pass because you're Australian..." isn't racist. SMH Everyone knows the difference between nationality and race. Ethnic Australians are the Aborigenes and the other Australians are made up of mostly Europeans and Asians. Now, let us break it down into something you can understand. For you, being Australian isn't a race, ok, fair enough, it is similar to being an American or an English person. However, you stated that he was "Australian", and this is called "Indirect discrimination." According to Australian laws: Quote:Racial discrimination is when a person is treated less favourably than another person in a similar situation because of their race, colour, descent, national or ethnic origin or immigrant status. Quote:It is also racial discrimination when there is a rule or policy that is the same for everyone but has an unfair effect on people of a particular race, colour, descent, national or ethnic origin or immigrant status. In short, it would be wise for you just to stop playing the victims card and then doing the same thing to others. You need to realise that Mexicans, Koreans, the Gay and Lesbian community and Atheists are discriminated more than any other group. RE: Anyone got a comment for this..?

Hi I typed out a rant and realized it would be more appropriate to PM a mod about it rather than further derail stuff Just changed it to that comment, so it wasn't aimed at anyone. Nothing to do with your posts, sorry for confusion!

Nothing to do with your posts, sorry for confusion! No need to apologise Rob. When I read it, it could have been with reference to either Huggies or myself. So, we are all good. Have a good one. Fancy car parts and large jewelry, no matter what words are used to describe them, do not indicate racism. Disclaimer: I am only responsible for what I say, not what you choose to understand.

Perhaps he has Spanish origins. The only people I know who deal in fancy car parts and wear large jewellery are the Hispanic population who have a fascination (as well as great artistic talent) for low riders and nice rings and necklaces.
If you dare to watch duck dynasty, there are two separate occasions where rims are part of the story line. One, where Jase is putting fancy rims on his black truck. And the other episode is when Jase uses Willies RV to go and pick up two ATVs for Willie. When they arrive, comments are made about the fancy rims on the ATVs and the salesguy says that that's what Willie wanted.
Jase and Willie are neither Mexican or African American. So again, what does having nice rims have to do with being racist? If a self-professed redneck can put fancy chrome rims on a friggin ATV, well, then it's not being racist. Disclaimer: I am only responsible for what I say, not what you choose to understand.
