You've been given very clear answers, I was extremely helpful. I've given several analogies, and a link telling you all you need to know about both. But if you're just going to ignore what I say, then it's a waste of time.
Satanism has a load of prescribed beliefs, as detailed in the link. Atheism has no beliefs by default.

There is no general statement you can say about atheists, other than they are atheists. Not so for Satanists, they are making clear their philosophy.
The only thing that sets them apart that I've heard thus far is "they're a group", when it can easily be argued that atheists are a group as well.

Atheism isn't a philosophy or a belief system. It's a lack of belief in deities. That's it. LaVeyan Satanism is a philosophy and a belief system that happens to contain atheists. How is this so difficult to grasp?

How is atheism not a group, though? This is a group we're posting in, after all...

It's a belief in the nonexistence of gods/deities. Same as Satanism.

I read the FAQ on the satanist website and what I got out of it was essentially "lack of belief." Anything extra is purely a choice and not a part of the core Satanist philosophy.
