I'm not trying to be confrontational, only to debate in a friendly manner. And these are all just my opinions.

Sorry if I come off as aggressive, I never mean to be. I'm so logical it pisses me off sometimes. My brain has already started a full 30 point analaysis of something before I've even figured out what I'm looking at or if I should care about it. Shut the fuck up brain! It's just an orange!

I am genuinely pleased for you that Christianity makes you happy.

I'm off to polish the magic tea pot.

For one so supposedly logical, that is not a logical assessment but rather an emotional one.

After all, something should not be viewed in a good light just because it makes one feel good.

OK. I can rephrase it more logically by adding more detail:

Given that you have decided to be Christian, I am glad that it makes you happy.

I didn't mean to endorse being Christian, I don't, I think it's ridiculous. But that's just my opinion.

Is that logical now? Smile

That is not at all what I meant.

I simply meant that one who is logical is not glad that someone has found false happiness from a source rooted deeply in delusion.
