Example 3: We invade foreign countries for their oil resources. All kinds of claims from liberals who for some reason, abandon their critical thinking on this particular issue. But not a peep from the Kerry or Obama campaigns or the Democratic National Party - because they know the claim is nonsense. The problem with this example is that Kerry and Obama would not benefit from bringing this out. They are employed / controlled by the same powers that told Bush what to do. In other words they are on the same side.

Honestly, at this point, it seems like the only reason the West doesn't destroy this guy (besides the fear of reprisal from China) is because, quite frankly, it's only a matter of time before the whole nation self-destructs.

There's a bunch of reasons for this:
* As seen in the OP, Kim Jong-Un is hell-bent on destroying any possible rivals, almost certainly leading to one hell of a succession crisis when he died.
* The nation has hardly any natural resources and the vast majority of the people in the nation are starving, thanks to Kim dynasty's policies.
* For all the sabre-rattling they engage in, North Korea's not likely to be able to actually do much power; if so much as one shell hits Seoul (and I'd be very surprised if their nukes can get much farther than South Korea), the armistice that put the Korean War on perpetual hold is over, and, given that nothing short of a Zerg Rush could lead to a North Korean victory in the face of the opposition of, well, most of the world, North Korea's existence would also be over.

Just because we are clumsy and shot ourselves in the foot instead and didn't gain a cent does not mean we didn't fire the gun with the nefarious intent to murder someone else for our own profit.

I'm not one of those. I recognize that our leaders can do stupid things. I do not support my country when it is in the wrong. But I'm tired of this 'war for oil' bullshit. I see no evidence for it. The national Democratic party doesn't seem to either because they don't use it against Republicans - unless they are in on it too?

I accept that I may be naive and am not seeing it. I invite anyone to show me the evidence for a 'war for oil'. If you can't, it would be best to hold yourself to the same standards we demand of the other side: Don't spout shit you can't back up with facts.
