I've heard some people say they want to "test their faith", but then their idea of a test is requesting we disprove an unfalsifiable proposition. So they have made themselves feel better that there is some way they could be "proved wrong", without having to worry about it actually being possible. This displays either a lack of understanding of how claims work, or ruthless dishonesty. The more times the first option is explained, the less reason I have to think that is the problem.
So I'll say again, a claim is worthless unless there is some actual way it can be reasonably demonstrated to be wrong. Otherwise, it is just mere unsupported speculation. If it can't be demonstrated to be wrong, it also cannot be demonstrated to be right, since the direct opposite claim is also unfalsifiable. So by admission, the person making the claim is making an arbitrary choice. It's nothing more than a guess on a multiple choice paper. And just because it's a guess, that does not mean it is 50/50. Just because we don't know if something is true or not, it does not mean it's as likely as not to be true. For example, I just rolled a die. Did I get a 6? You don't know if I got a six, do its 50/50 right? What's that? We use what we know about the world to assign probabilities? There you go.

Ah. Well, in that case, do whatever you want I guess. Just don't hurt other people while you're doing it or I come lay the logic smack down.

"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

OK, so how far out in the void from the universe would you have to go to see the universe as a flat object? Is it possible that gravity has several independent and discrete properties?

OK, so how far out in the void from the universe would you have to go to see the universe as a flat object? Is it possible that gravity has several independent and discrete properties? The 2 dimensional depiction of the accelerating universe shows a ‘void’ (*blue background, reposted.) which is non-existent to our senses or instrumentations since it is non-dimensional or extra-dimensional, and not part of the universe; therefore we can’t view the universe’s geometrical shape. The galaxies are located on the 4 dimensional cosmic surface. Perhaps an analogy for perspective: If sea creatures never saw above the water's surface, they wouldn’t ever see the ‘flatness’ of the surface.

Advance life needed a flat universe so that the universe last long enough for stars to spew-out heavy elements needed for advanced life; and expands slow enough so that gravity can form galaxies rather than neutron stars.
In that connection, This quote from - The Grand Design - “Were it not for a series of starting coincidences in seems, human and similar life-forms would never have come into being.”*

So in which direction is the universe flat? Where's its top surface?

There is a god and we cannot see it or prove it, but it is there because the bible says so.
Now we have a disk shaped universe that we cannot see or prove, but it is there because the bible says so.
The bible also says a borg ship will be coming to take all you morons away.
I cannot wait, when is this rapture?

For all its lunacy, the rapture is perfectly named. That's exactly what we'll all feel if it really was to happen.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

I am unlikely to find it orgasmic.
