insult the holy spirit

RE: insult the holy spirit
The bigger problem is "hate". The holy spirit doesn't care what you call it or do to it. Every time we allow a pedophile have at it on the second victim because we are a pussy and refuse to help the next child the holy spirit takes it up the ass again. So the holy spirit is getting his. But if its "hate" that drives you then that is bad for the body on many levels.

Of course not. I don't really do all the stupid things I describe in my posts! That would be some kind of nuts Shock

I wonder how people imagine the holy spirit. To me it's just a very pale, see-through kind of ghostly figure, with a few tentacles. Not very good ones. Kind of like a totally weak-ass version of the FSM. It sort of floats around near stuff that is happening and tries to take credit for it. I'm not buying it. Not even in my imagination.

RE: insult the holy spirit
Mormons postulate there are negroidal spirits, unbodied and indistinguishable from the Holy Spirit when they are in the pre-life state, and they are unbodied as pre-punishment. When those negroidal spirits are on earth they get physical bodies, but they are marked (dark skin, flattened noses) so we can tell them apart.

The pre-punishment is for Cain and Ham screwing up apparently. The negroes do get their own planets, eventually, but only after all the white folks get theirs. I think they get to keep their bodies when they are on their own planets. It's my understanding the change in Mormon racial policies back in the late 1970s covers only aspects of church officer eligibility and social interactions amongst the flock, the pre and post earthly life stuff is still in the LDS literature so it must remain in effect.

I don't know if bodies are stored in the Mormon prelife area without souls in them, or if they are 'produced' as required for the spirit beings. Mormon hierarchy is aware the Holy Ghost not having a physical body like other spirits who don't have them due to it being a punishment issue, is not a punishment issue in that instance, but 'officially', it is something no one needs to worry about.

I'm sure we are all relieved the Mormons have worked out all this 'spirit' stuff for the rest of us.

Isn't that a creative way to justify being a hateful racist bigot....

God (well, Adam apparently)(or maybe Nephi? I get confused) is the racist. The earthly Mormons beseech Him from time to time to lighten up. The 1970s racial revelation was their lone success on the topic.

(I didn't intend for their to be a pun in there, but I see one has crept in unbidden, sorry)

yes, beliefs can be used to weaponize people. It's because most people don't understand what a belief is.
