that's the thing, 34/23.7 is NOT how you write a proper fraction, I already made this clear.

Huggy-poo, I have tutored AP students and remedial students in math. I have never had one as pig-headedly ignorant as you.

You don't know what the fuck you are talking about, and you won't fucking listen.

They're the same thing. A fraction is an expression of division. That's why one half = one divided by two.

my point is, this whole discussion is about the golden ratio, 34/21 is not the golden ratio, they are fibonacci numbers, in order to get the golden ratio you have to get the quotient of the two numbers, and 34/23.7 is not a ratio in the context of the conversation.

which is why i've been asking what numbers surgenator used to get his ratio.

The numbers I used were given to you multiple times. If you want them again, go search through the previous post. I'm tired of reposting the samething to a person who refuses to read it.

I've seen a lot of people argue about things they don't understand on here before, but ive never seen someone argue about how to write a fraction (etc) and Keep on arguing they're righit when they've been proven to be wrong. Undecided

Next on the Chrisitan maths channel:

* long division - atheist scheme or satan's way of making things smaller?

* imaginary numbers - are they real?

* What's up with exponents?

This reminds me of the time my darling Sam and I had a pub lunch in Dudley, and a party of students at another table were having a violent row about the laws of physics. It was like being at the colosseum, only with slightly less Latin. And more blood.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'
