tlanta (CNN)– Megachurch pastor Creflo Dollar was arrested in suburban Atlanta for an alleged assault on his 15-year-old daughter, police said Friday.

Deputies in Georgia's Fayette County responded to a call about a domestic disturbance about 1 a.m. Friday. Dollar's daughter said she argued with her father over attending a party, said Investigator Brent Rowan of the Fayette County Sheriff's Office.

The daughter says the argument got physical.

She told the deputies that her father charged her, put his hands around her throat and began to choke her, according to a police report. She said he then slammed her to the ground, punched her and beat her with his shoe.

- He used large church donations from a wealthy supporter to pay his sons' private college tuition.

- The minister used a big donation meant for one of his charities to clear a mortgage on his family's house, according to an accountant who told Keyes he was quitting, in part because of the transaction.

- And, when his congregation sold its 19th-century church in midtown Manhattan for $31 million, he and his friends benefited.

The only thing that suprises me about this report is that when the Pastor announced this miracle cure his petitioners didn't erupt into a series of incomprehensible noises then when the idea of what he was suggesting sank in they ran away unable to contain their excitement into separate corners and started to masturbate intensely.

This might help. An amercian visits Manchester, he doesn't really seem to get it. You see "chavs" or "scallies" as they're referred to in the Mank language make up a large part of the population of Manchester and Liverpool. Both as a consequence are seen as cities you don't really want to find yourself in.
No-one will ever admit to being a scally or chav because its seen as being insulting and rightly so but basically they're like our equivalent of the trailer trash you might get in parts of America... except they're fucking everywhere.

On July 25th Kong Hee, pastor at City Harvest Church (CHC), and five others appeared in court on charges of misusing up to S$50m ($40m) of church money to fund the music career of Mr Kong’s flamboyant wife, Sun Ho. The case has divided Singapore’s fast-growing Christian community, which makes up about a fifth of the 5m population. It also worries those who see corruption as a growing problem.

The CHC is Singapore’s largest mega-church, with more than 30,000 members. Ms Ho helped to found the church and started singing as a way to broaden the church’s appeal: skimpy outfits and provocative gyrations helped. A decade ago she became a full-time pop singer. She has released several albums. Her home is a mansion in Hollywood Hills, California.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Three female plaintiffs claim an evangelical church group covered up allegations of sexual abuse against children, failed to report accusations to the police and discouraged its members from cooperating with law enforcement, according to a lawsuit filed Wednesday.

The lawsuit was filed in Maryland state court against Sovereign Grace Ministries, a 30-year-old family of churches with more than 80 congregations. Most of its churches are in the U.S., but it also has planted congregations in other countries. The alleged abuse happened in Maryland and northern Virginia in the 1980s and 1990s.

The plaintiffs allege a conspiracy spanning more than two decades to conceal sexual abuse committed by church members. They accuse church representatives of permitting suspected pedophiles to interact with children, supplying them with free legal advice to avoid prosecution and forcing victims to meet with and ‘‘forgive’’ the person that had molested them.
