Look, I already know you guys aren't going to understand what I'm saying. If you can't understand the simple things in the scriptures there's no way you'll "get" the complex things which are only revealed through by the spirit.
The whole Bible is about Jesus Christ, cover to cover, he is represented right there in the garden of Eden, I can explain it to you but what's the point? It would be like trying to explain colors to a blind person.
The word of God always confused those who weren't part of the elect. Did not Jesus have 7,000 disciples at one time? yet when he stated "Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you." people thought he was crazy and left simply because they couldn't understand what he was saying.
He wasn't speaking literally, (just like the fruit in the garden wasn't literal fruit) If Jesus is the word of God made flesh as the bible states, then he was talking about partaking of the word of God, spiritual food.
'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'
Your spirit requires food just like the body, and without the word of God, you cannot have eternal life.
Yet the Catholic church takes the eating of the flesh and blood of Christ to be literal, hence why they have Transubstantiation.
