Global warming isn't going to destroy the planet...it'll destroy humans on the planet. Whether that is a good thing or not is debatable. Anyway, I am against any government spending where all the facts are not known. In the case of global warming, I remain skeptical about whether humans are actually causing it or not.

It's not a matter of "Are we causing global warming"!!!!!!! It's a matter of; should we continue to create an unhealthy environment or create a cleaner, healthier one (which is cheaper in the long run may I add)

Hey, if you can do it through private charity that I'm not forced into donating to, go right ahead. I personally don't want my tax money wasted on things that haven't been properly investigated yet. The world I live in is clean enough for me at the moment, and the new advances of technology mean we get cleaner energy anyway. I don't see any evidence that we are heading for a disaster.

I'm sorry, but all the climate scientsts who aren't working for the people responsible for the problem are all agreeing that there is an enormous problem.
I don't think the planet is going to die, but there's plenty of evidence that a lot of people and ecosystems are going to crash and burn sometime within the next few generations thanks to everything.
Scientists have been aware of what's going on for more than three decades now.

Some peoples skulls are too thick. Sometimes atheists forget that their "beliefs" are not based on 100% sure facts and that they choose to retain that "belief" anyways based on GOOD ENOUGH evidence and assumptions.
