In the case of the Catholics they all know about the sexual abuse of children by the Catholic priests. But the Catholics continue to pimp their children by forcing them to be in close contact with the very group of people who have been shown to sexually abuse children. They could reduce such incidents by not putting their children in contact with such people. So the parents are willing collaborators.
