I'll have to agree with Thena on this. While negative traits are unattractive regardless of who has them, there are some that are particularly repulsive on men and some that are particularly repulsive on woman. Being petty is particularly repulsive on men. Being cold hearted is particularly repulsive on woman. Just my opinion. I don't have a problem with acknowledging differences between masculinity and femininity... It is those differences that makes each sex unique and special.
I disagree with the entirety of this post. Negative traits are negative. Positive traits are positive. Regardless of gender. I also have no problem recognizing the differences between masculinity or femininity. but these are just social constructs, they're ideas of how men or women should be and I think they're a load of cow crap to be honest. There's nothing about being soft and gentle and nuturing that's inherently womanly. There's nothing about being strong and whatever other "masculine" things there are that's inherently manly. People are different and genders aren't special. That's my opinion of course.
