As someone who suffered a terrible break up last year that involved lying and other stupid shit I didn't deserve, I can promise you that no "gotcha" moment actually gets justice for anything.
So if you're stuck on believing that he was in the right, that's fine, but fuck off for deciding we're kill joys for not thinking the same thing. Perhaps it's a maturity difference, or perhaps it's an age difference, or maybe it's simply a difference in values. Apparently the majority of us handle our relationships in a more private way and don't find shaming someone publicly like this to be adequate recompense in any fashion for what we might have suffered.
