I agree I'm pretty sure ultimately it's all irrational, "Why do you like X?" "Because I like Y." "Why do you like Y?" "Because I like Z", and so on until it comes down to you don't know why you like what you like. It's all irrational and I think a lot of what you like or dislike is because you associate it with something else you like or dislike, but it all ultimately boils down to irrational passions.
