No. Not being patriotic is the honorable thing. If your country has any quality worthy of appreciation, you wouldn't need patriotism to appreciate it. If you appreciate your country for qualities that you would think to be indifferent in another, then you are a fool. If you think others ought to appreciate your country for qualities that would be regarded as indifferent in another country, then you are a scoundrel.
Patriotism is the last refuge of scoundrels.
