I'm totally a patriot. Yay go Germany, greatest country ever!1! Oh wait, turns out I'm not 
I clearly grew up with some attitudes and ideals which are typical for this country, I can see that it is great in many respects and I want it to succeed, but in many respects I think it sucks and feel like I might belong somewhere else . Does that make me a patriot?

Good point. Having lived in different parts of Germany, I realize that I love my home turf and many of its people , but absolutely cannot grog the mentality in some other parts of it.
