While reading this, I was trying to put myself in their shoes- the feeling of dread when the first gun was produced, the panic when the first shot was fired, the sadness at the loss of life- but the reality is all 4 of them probably really wanted this to happen, for years. There was probably a moment where they all looked at each other and went "This is our chance! Draw'em, boys!"
