On Friday I stopped at a bagel place on the way into work and order a bagel and a small coffee - and then proceed to wait behind a woman who had purchased two dozen-bagel boxes, three specialty sandwiches and an extra bagel, and was counting out one dollar bills and change to pay for it.
I heard the cashier give her a total of about $33 and when the lady asked what she was up to so far and the cashier told her "$21!"
I thought for sure I'd be there forever but she counted out another $4 in change and paid for the rest with a card.
The cashier rang me up and then made my coffee and gave me a free size upgrade.
